Green space professionals should work with training providers, practitioners and experts from the public, private and voluntary sectors, drawing on examples and good practice from around the world. It offers support, information and advice to park practitioners. See www.cabe.org.uk The Power of Wellbeing – The Local Government Act 2000 gave local authorities wide ranging powers to promote the social, economic and environmental wellbeing of local authority areas. Subject to certain limits, local leaders can use this power to take any action they think necessary to improve their parks and open spaces.
